What a long, strange trip it’s been!! Too small to play high school baseball, I stumbled into the theater and didn’t leave for four years. Acting, lighting, sound… it didn’t matter. I was fully immersed! Then off to college – but would the acting bug stick? The sciences beckoned, and I was torn. I had to choose between my passion for theater and my dream of becoming a physician. In the end, the dream of medicine won, but the passion for the theater never wavered. I recorded my first “books on tape” in the ‘80s during my diagnostic radiology residency in Philadelphia. Then, life happened… marriage, kids, career… the hard stuff. Thirty years of it! I picked up the audiobook scent again in 2014 and knew what I wanted to do when I grew up!
Why should we be optimistic about the future of humanity?

How do you find the road to healing after emotional trauma?
How should a CEO manage her sales operation?
What happens when an alpha-male meets his match?
Time and again, readers are reminded that ideas and actions have consequences, and that history is often a self-inflicted wound—and one that’s often septic. A powerful book in which grimness and lyricism fight to a draw. - Kirkus Reviews
