Armed with a classical liberal arts education, I encountered a fork in the road when I had to choose between a young man’s passion for theater and a dream of becoming a physician. Medicine prevailed, while the storyteller slumbered. I recorded my first audiobooks in the ‘80s, picked up the scent again in 2014, and with time finally on my side, I am riding my love of literature, history and science back to where I started, but never left.
